The College Team

The Illawarra College of Professional Beauty Therapy prides itself on the exceptional training standards of all our teachers. Our staff members have considerable experience both within the beauty industry and in training students. The current team of the Illawarra College of Professional Beauty Therapy consists of:

Tracey Rovere

is the College Principal and a professional Beauty Therapist with over twenty three years’ experience. Tracey holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.

Troy Lester

is the College’s manager. He has been the student liaison for the last year and has helped students with their learning needs.

Val Wood

is a qualified Beauty Therapist with over 23 years of experience. Val holds her Diploma in Beauty Therapy and owns a successful Beauty Salon. Val also trained at The Illawarra College of Professional Beauty Therapy.

Laura Abela

is a qualified beauty therapist, who works in the day spa and the office. Laura will be able to assist you with any enquires regarding the college and the salon. Laura has her Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Certificate III in Nail Technology.

Aileen Sparks

holds a diploma in body massage and has had many years of experience in both training and performing the art of massage. She holds a Certificate IV in training and assessment and also specialises in aromatherapy, Indian head massage and hot stone therapy massage.

Kylee Curtin

is a qualified beauty therapist with 20 years experience in the beauty industry. She has her Certificate IV in Training and Assessing. Kylee teaches both Manicure, Pedicure and Waxing and Bleaching treatments at the college.

Tanja Treier

is a qualified beauty therapist. Tanja holds a Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy, which she obtained through the Illawarra College of Professional Beauty Therapy. She has her Certificate IV in Training and Assessing.
